During Cass Innovate conference in London, May 4th, 2017 INJECT was presented to the public. More than 50 reporters, editors and media people attended the product launch and the live demo of INJECT’s capabilities.
Journalist and guest speaker Oliver Smith (The Memo) endorsed INJECT’s mission when he stated that “anything that helps journalists create more interesting and unique content is valuable”. The audience wanted to know more about the pricing model and saw many different opportunities for implementation of the tool, including the fight against fake news.
Project Leader Neil Maiden (City University) talked about how INJECT could be used by different newsrooms and media organisations. It will be developed further by the technical partners at City University London, Explaain and ICCS in Greece and will be open for business on July 1st, 2017.
